Fire rated roller shutter door is used in fire compartment or escape passage of factories, commercial buildings, and supermarkets. Made from special fireproof material, it can prevent spreading of fire and protect life and property. The fire control panel of the door can be connected with Fire protection Control Center of the building, to build linkage between them. When thre is a fire accident, the door can open or close automatically after it receive the control signals from the Control Center. This can prevent fire more effectively and benefit quick escape of human.
According to China national GB standard, fire roller shutter door is classified into three types, Grade B, Grade A ad Grade A+:
- Grade B: Fire rated time 2 hours; Single layer galvanized steel slats.
- Grade A: Fired rated time 3 hours; Double layer galvanized steel slats, filled with fireproof Aluminum silicate wool. The wool has excellent thermal-stability, and can resist 1200 C.
- Grade A+: Fire rated time 3 hours; The door panel consists of two separate curtains, with 300 mm space between them. Each curtain are made from Radiation proof aluminum foil ceramic fiber cloth, Ceramic fuber knitted blanket, High-temperature resistant fire-proof cloth, and color decorative cloth. One motor drives two rollers at the same time, realizing synchronous movement of two curtains. Running speed: 4.5 - 7 m/min.
